Karen Rosasco, an award-winning watermedia artist, is a retired high school art teacher with 31 years of service teaching children. For nearly thirty years, she has provided art instruction for adults in both evening courses and workshops. Besides painting, Karen also plans and escorts group tours, called Art Escapes, to Europe and Asia.
Experimental Watermedia Workshops
Karen teaches experimental watermedia workshops with a curriculum that encompasses a variety of techniques, including: layered acrylic, over charcoal, collage, drag, layered mixed media, and textured gel medium.
Vision
A self-described shape maker, Karen chooses to emphasize design and composition as the foundation for the symbols she places on the paper or canvas. An avid traveler, she continually searches for new and unusual subjects as themes for her many paintings.
